Malacca Ghee Cookies

Ingredients :
  • 120g ghee
  • 60g icing sugar
  • 1 egg yolk
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • A little vanilla
  • 180g plain flour, sifted with
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 egg for glazing
Method :
  1. Cream ghee and icing sugar in a mixer until well combined. Add egg yolk, salt, vanilla and mix well.
  2. Fold in sifted flour.
  3. form into small balls and place onto a baking tray. Use finger to dip a little egg yolk and press on top of cookies.
  4. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degree celcius for 15 to 20 minutes or until lightly brown. Remove and leave to cool before storing.
